ABOUT US

 SlyFox Wrestling Academy was founded in the summer of 2019 by Jeramy Jackson and Danny Rainey.  Coach Jackson saw a need for a competitive wrestling academy in Northeast Kansas.  At that time there were plenty of "school/community" based wrestling clubs in the area.  We wanted to build a team that would bring like minded coaches, kids and parents together.  The area had East Kansas Wrestling (Kevin Klemm, Eric Akin and Travis Phippen) for many years from the mid nineties into the 21st century.  East Kansas/Legacy Wrestling dissolved and SlyFox Wrestling Academy was born.  

SlyFox Wrestling Academy is not a "feeder" team to any particular high school.  Our Academy has removed the "boundaries" in Northeast Kansas and brought some of the toughest, hardest working kids in our area together.  We have kids travel from all over to attend our training sessions.  We have had kids travel up to 1.5 hours each way to participate in our room.  Families from Doniphan, Atchison, Jefferson, Leavenworth, Wyandotte, Douglas, Johnson, Miami and Franklin counties!

The Academy has had top level coaches in the room as well.  Conner Ward (NCAA D1 Wrestler at UALR),  Eric Akin (4 x NCAA All American @ Iowa State, 3 x Big Eight Champion, US World Team 1999, Silver Medalist @ 2000 World Cup), Mike Krause and Danny Rainey to name a few.  

SlyFox Wrestling Academy is currently based out of Olathe, KS.   Our academy trains at Homefield Indoor Training Facility (Olathe, KS).  We consider our locations our "FOX HOLES".  Where the magic happens and the fur flies!
